FERRARI 250 TESTA ROSSA TR60 – VICTORY AT THE 1960 24 HOURS OF LE MANS AND SECOND PLACE
The Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, a name derived from its engine size and the red color of its valve covers, made its racing debut in 1957 but only in 1958 did it compete in the entire season, winning the Prototype World Championship with victories at the 1000 km of Buenos Aires, the 12 Hours of Sebring, the Targa Florio and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 1959 it achieved a first and second place at the 12 Hours of Sebring and in 1960 it confirmed its victory by winning the Prototype World Championship with victories in Buenos Aires and the double at Le Mans that we are offering you in this newsletter.
